How we got there
The Thalys fast train from Brussels reached us to Schiphol airport station -Amsterdam, just under 2 hours. It was both exciting and convenient to travel from one country to another this way. The seats needed prior, paid reservation, apart from ticket booking fees.
Where we stayed
We stayed in an apartment in Brussels Nord, Rue Botanique (street), that was at a 5 min walking distance from the GARE DU NORD railway station.
How we got around
We got around from one country to another/ city to city , using the 15 day continuous EURAILPASS . We moved around Amsterdam mostly by foot and also by using a local transport ticket that lasted for 90 minutes. We could locally board buses, metro and trams using this ticket.
