How we got there
We got from Edinburgh to Oxenholme by train. This journey lasted less than 3 hours. We then took a taxi to reach Ambleside. This journey lasted half hour.
Where we stayed
We stayed in a villa on Wansfell road named BIRCH END. We had booked this online on trip advisor.
How we got around
We got around Ambleside by foot and around Lake District with Mountain Goat Tours.
